Translation Skills Training Courses

This IACET accredited, fully online training and testing program is designed for Analytic Linguists, who monitor (summarize, in English), transcribe (in Spanish) and translate (into English) in support of the facets of legal proceedings.

Our program consists of six (6) courses (3 basic/3 advanced), thirty (30) hours long (equaling 3 CEUs each), taken sequentially. Each course is six (6) weeks in length. The total time to complete all courses is nine (9) months.

The minimum passing grade for each course is 80% (ILR Proficiency level 3 – Basic Professional). At the completion of the six courses, the student will receive an “Analytic Linguist Professional” certificate. Only by earning this certificate and successfully completing the series of six courses, is a student eligible to take the “Certified Analytic Linguist Professional™” exam, consisting of a series of tests, which takes eight (8) hours for both English and Spanish.
